It's a lot easier to be happy when one finds a way to be content.

I'm actually rather melancholy today. 53 days until we move, one way or another. I'm sad because I realize how wonderful the people I've come to know out here really are, and I realize they can't come with us. It's really going to hurt a lot to leave some of the friends we've made behind.

This morning I was practically giddy, and right now I could almost cry. I've been chatting with Micah on Yahoo, and realizing all these things. We're talking about getting together in a couple of weeks, maybe, if her plans don't pan out one particular evening.

Sigh. I need to dig out an energy music mix or something to chase away these blues.

On a happier note, +Kyle took the mutt out to the park today. I got a vacation! ^_^ We watched The Order, and I fell asleep about halfway through. It was an okay movie, and I tried to stay awake, but I was sooooo cozy on the couch. :P I had a hard time getting past the dad from Still Standing being a priest, so that kindof killed the mood for me, anyway. LOL

Anyway, I was still dozing on and off after the movie, and he had to run to the store for something, and take the movie back, so Washu went with him and they played. He said she was really well-behaved, which is good news. I can't say I missed her when I got up to turn on some music and wash dishes, though. :P Ah well, I am just thankful to him for giving me some reprieve from her.
