very very cool book. It's more comprehensive than the kanji book I already have. The really cool thing is it includes mnemonic phrases (directly related to the meaning of the character) for each character. For example:
JIN, NIN, HITO
meaning: "person, people"
Mnemonic: Headless, Armless Person
Much coolness there.
"The Case for Christ"
It's a book of Christian evidences for Jesus. Very fascinating - I expect to read it several times. ^_^
Roughnecks Starship Trooper Chronicles vol. 1 - The Pluto Campaign (DVD)
This is really an awesome CGI series. I believe it's placed after the movie, but even not having seen it, the show is superb. Maybe not the best CGI work, but great fun, and very addictive. Really excited to have the first of this series. ^_^
Ah! My Goddess - The Movie
Beautiful...just beautiful... Really glad to have this one too. It'll be neat to see the English version of this film. AMG is one of few anime that I don't mind seeing in English, because it's done well. Now to get the series, and the Adventures of Mini Goddess... Eeeeeee!
The obligatory Life Savers (long time family tradition) - 2 rolls - 1 mint and 1 fruit. I got Wild Cherry this time, instead of the mixed roll, so that'll be a fun change. ^_^
Good good pressies...I am pleased with the haul. *g* It's a pity I'm so busy - I really want to dig into everything. Maybe before we move I'll get the chance.
