...I don't think there's anything you people don't know about me. LOL

Seriously...

1) I used to read those cheesy horror novels by R.L. Stine and Christopher Pike. I *loved* them. My parents didn't like me reading them, so I stopped.

2) I had one boyfriend before +Kyle, also a long distance relationship. It only lasted about 4 months, and I attribute the split to my not being ready to commit. :P I pretty much hid him from everyone. He's married now, and hasn't returned an email from me in years, although the last time we wrote, it was on amiable terms.

3) +Kyle was my 'first' everything. first Hand-hold, first "real" hug, first kiss, etc...

4) My dreams can be so realistic that I believe them to be true, to the point of arguing with people over conversations we never *actually* had and situations we were never really in.

5) I'm desperately ticklish. I'm so ticklish that I can tickle myself. People don't usually believe me when I tell them this, but it's true.

6) When I was little, I used to believe that there was someone in a building who controlled all the stoplights in a town. My idea was that there was a wall of switches, and this individual would click each one all the way down the wall - that would turn them red. Then, they'd run back and start flipping the switches the other way, and that would turn the lights green.

7) Early in high school, I wanted to learn French. That didn't go very far.

8) I used to save *everything*. Papers, projects, art supplies, string, old emails & chat files, etc. I've gotten a lot better about getting rid of things I don't actually need, or haven't used in a couple of years.

9) When I was born, my nickname at the hospital was "Bright Eyes". My eyes have always been my best feature, except for maybe my hair.

10) I always look at people's shirts. Even if you're a total stranger, if you have a cool shirt, I will walk up to you and tell you how cool it is, and maybe ask where you found it. I love it when people come up to me and ask where I got my shirts.

I think I remember those books. Were they the Point Horror ones? if not, were they popular at about the same time?

I've never heard of the Point Horror books, but they look very similar to the Christopher Pike and R. L. Stine books. I read them around age 12, so that must have been around 1991.
