lsdiamondLSDiamond: You remember talking about that thing the other night? Seeing those flashes of movement just out of sight? Either someone is watching me tonight, or there have been a lot of different ones milling around while I put away laundry and working out. I need to go finish training, but thought you'd be interested.
Strider: *nod*
LSDiamond: Weird
Strider: I'm used to it. *shrug* I talk to them when I'm alone and not praying.
LSDiamond: Very weird. I talked to this one tonight. It stayed around for a little while, but then left shortly after I sent you this message.
Strider: Isn't it?
Did it say anything?
LSDiamond: No, but I saw it better for a second. Do they talk to you?
Strider: Not audibly. Whether what I "hear" is them or my imagination, I'm not certain.
LSDiamond: This one was lighter than usual
LSDiamond: I see
Strider: I approach all this from the sanest possible perspective. :)
LSDiamond: Understandably so. I have this weird feeling now, though, like I want it to come back
LSDiamond: Not like all the time, but just visit now and then or something. Be a friend
Strider: *chuckle* when I started talking to them, i wanted them to go away.
LSDiamond: Well I have a little different perspective now than I did before.
LSDiamond: This was really strange, though. I don't usually see one when someone else is in the house. Ryan's home, although he was in another room.
Strider: *nod*
No telling why. They're strange.
LSDiamond: True enough. But I liked this one. Oh well, we'll see what comes of it. I don't know that I would 'recognize' it if it did come back
Strider: Trust me, you can.

LSDiamond: how?
Strider: *nod* Partially by sight, partially by presence. I don't "see" them very well, but I know they're there.
LSDiamond: Hmm

LSDiamond: Just taking it in
Strider: Yeah.
It weirded me out at first, but.. There's usually one buzzing about my face when I'm working on the computer, and a larger one sitting around somewhere...
I dunno. They must have their reasons for wanting to spend every possible moment around me. :P I'm rather boring.

LSDiamond: The one tonight was about my size, maybe a little taller. I sat on the bed to talk, so I'm not sure
Strider: One of them is. The other's about my height. (hence my elf-fairy thing..)

Strider: Those are the usuals. there's another one, taller, and then the rest I don't recognize.
I do have to be honest though; when I told Alyce about this, she was so matter of fact I was stunned. (I went about it very roundaboutly.) She can see and talk to them.

LSDiamond: No kidding! I'd be stunned too...well..I am!
Strider: I'm too left-brain I think to really see them. I still can't believe I talk at all about this to anyone.

LSDiamond: Frankly, I was surprised to see this one more tonight. I think acknowledging it was the first step. For so long, I've just written it off as an anomaly, or just not really knowing what to make of it.

LSDiamond: I have a mental image of schizophrenic types, and wonder how many of them are needlessly locked away. Or the kids with invisible friends.
Strider: I think schitzophrenics are telepaths myself, but... :)
Yes, the invisible friend thing has always intrigued me.
LSDiamond: I'd agree with that as a concept.
Ideas come to mind... The name 'Otherpeople' for one. I'm not finding anything online that has to do with them.
They could be something farfetched, like from an alternate universe.
They could be people astrally travelling. I like to think this is more likely, because it's a neat idea. It would explain why they often just disappear. (People getting jolted back into their bodies by a noise or something.) I like the idea that someone could visit me in this way, and I could consciously interact with them.
They could also explain phenomena such as schizophrenia and 'invisible friends'.
There's of course the aspect of them being spirits - some evil, some good...angels and demons, etc. I'm actually discinclined to believe that, because I believe angels have a holy 'aura' about them, if you will. I have experienced the presence of evil, and these creatures do not share that feeling, so I don't believe them to be demonic in nature. Granted, Satan is an angel of light, and can fool you into believing something is good, but still, I feel there is something else to these beings.
Can't wait for one to show up again. I plan to talk to it. Maybe I'll even make a new friend.
