I am in pain. It started a week or so ago, just suddenly, and for no apparent reason. It's down around my abs, and feels like pulled muscles, maybe.

Problem is, it's interfering with our sex life. It's been kinda tender for awhile, but last night he was only about halfway in and it felt like he had jabbed as far in as possible. That was excruciating.

So I don't know if I've pulled something, and it's been exacerbated by my biking every day, or what. I figure there's some inflammation, but it seems that something is either VERY swollen or out of place in there. He's worried now, but I don't know what else it could be. I'm going to stop biking for a few days and see if it lets up. If not, I may have to see someone about it.

Not that we can afford that right now. Sigh.

Yeah, I know that feeling.

Best way to check for appendicitus is to have your man push in on your stomach at the side and hold it that way for a minute. If he lets go and the pain worsens, it's appendicitus. ^_^ Been there done that too (with my brother as a kid and then later with Lee when Trent was 9 months old). Lee had surgery (no money- big debt) and he didn't miss quite enough work for us to qualify for medicaid (we were $200 over). Then it absessed and he had to have a second surgery a couple weeks later and we qualified- which is how I managed to finally get in and get my problems checked out.

When his appendicitus turned up, I was pissed. Not because of his illness but because his was one that we were able to identify and get him in for. Whereas I had been suffering for three months already but it just wasn't "important enough" for me to get checked out.
