Current Obsession

I've joined the masses of Harry Potter fans...
My 17-year-old brother (Ian)'s friend made him watch the movie, and he was so entranced he bought the books right away. I trust my brother's judgement on most things, and we tend to like the same things, so I went to the library and got the first book a couple of weeks ago. I've already finished the second book, and am on the waiting list for the third book.
I was afraid they'd be a bit slow to get into, but Rowling's style is so delightfully similar to Roald Dahl's, that I had no trouble getting into the story - what I couldn't do was put the books down!
So, now I need to rent the first film, and I'm already dying to see the second film when it comes out...hope I can drag my hubby to see it on the big screen. ^_~ Also, I'm looking for one of the little pink messenger owls. Anyone know where I can find one?
In other news, I have a ton of things to ship tomorrow - completed projects and purchases, both...will post on that after they're in the mail, though...
