We got a dog. Wolf hybrid, to be more precise. Some friends of Ryan's from school had some, and offered us one in exchange for some tutoring he was doing. We've talked for years about getting a hybrid, and jumped at the chance. Little Washu will be 8 weeks old Sunday, I think, and already getting huge. We took her with us to another friends' house last night for a post-moving party, to socialize with them and their dogs (Washu's brother and sister). She's doing so well, and they were impressed at how well we've trained her. (Simple stuff like "Come" and "Leave it".) She still nips quite a bit when playing, but has calmed down since last night, as her sister is quite the Alpha.
