Update on Jay's surgery
Update:
Jay had surgery at 8:00 this morning, and was out within a couple of hours. They opened his legs, and pushed a balloon up through the major (arteries? veins?), then inflated those balloons enough to break up the blockages and clear them. Thankfully, no open heart surgery was necessary! Praise God!
Jay called to let us know how he was around 10:30 - Edith said he sounded really drugged up (of course), and he was sore where they cut him up, but otherwise said he felt well enough to come to work tomorrow. LOL! The doctors of course won't allow that, and he was going to have the last week of June off anyway to go visit his daughter, so he should be coming back around July first.
So that's my happy news. ^_^
